Candidate is responsible for DR tests experience for complex Mainframe environments

He/She is responsible for 2nd level & 3rd level support for Mainframe system related issues. He/She would be expected to handle system administration request/problems via phone, email, ticketing tool and the job scheduling monitoring interfaces.

8 or above years of Systems Programming experience on zSeries Operating System - z/OS. Technical Systems Programming support skills that required for this position are z/OS, SMP/E, Problem/Change Management, Debugging skills. Support would include day-to-day support, problem and change management, software product upgrades and maintenance, user change communications, etc. In-depth knowledge and DR tests experience for complex Mainframe environments.

Certifications:

IBM certification in z/OS system programming.

Key skills required: (in the order of priority)

•     8 or above years of Systems Programming experience on zSeries Operating System-z/OS in the following areas:

1.    Installation , up-grade and maintenance of OS and ISV tools

2.    DR tests experience for complex Mainframe environments

3.    HMC

4.    HCD

5.    Monitoring System Resources

6.    Managing VTAM and TCP/IP resources

7.    Defining Logon Procedures

8.    Defining new LPARS

9.    Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning

10.   DASD Management
